Every article should read like it was written by someone who has actually lived the problem, not just researched it.

How to Pitch

Send a short pitch, not a finished draft. A few sentences on your proposed topic and angle, plus one line on your relevant experience with the breed or subject.
Include one or two writing samples, if you have them — published or not.
Tell us why you're the right person to write it. We care more about hands-on experience than formal credentials, but be upfront about both.

Give us 5–7 days to respond. If your pitch is a fit, we'll follow up with our editorial guidelines and a deadline.

What We're Looking For

A clear, specific angle — "Border Collie training" is too broad; "why herding drive shows up as furniture-chewing indoors" is a story
Practical, usable advice a reader can act on, not just general facts they could find anywhere
Honesty about trade-offs and difficulty — working breeds aren't for everyone, and we say so
Clean, plain-spoken writing. No filler, no fluff intros, no keyword-stuffed headings

We don't publish:

AI-generated drafts submitted without disclosure or meaningful editing
Unsourced medical or nutritional claims presented as fact
Thin, generic "10 tips" content that isn't specific to working breeds
Paid guest posts with undisclosed promotional links
